DesignModeler templates to create microstructure including short fiber and spherical filler is now available.
Migration to SpaceClaim
DesignModeler templates for blade material 0/90°, ±45° orientations and unidirectional model in random arrangement are now also available in the SpaceClaim environment.
Nonlinear Homogenization Analysis
Creep Curve Fitting
The strain hardening, exponential, and Norton laws are now available as master curves for curve fitting of creep materials, in addition to the time hardening law. We can now also identify the temperature dependent terms.
Granta MI Interface
Corresponding Particle Dispersion Model
The particle dispersion model is now compatible with the data output function for Granta MI.
Numerical Material Testing Using LS-DYNA
Numerical Material Testing with Symmetric Mesh Upgraded to Official Functionality
Numerical material testing analysis with LS-DYNA using a symmetric mesh model has been upgraded from β functionality to full functionality.
Asymmetric Mesh Numerical Material Testing Using LS-DYNA (β Function)
A solver for asymmetric mesh models has been implemented in LS-DYNA’s numerical material testing analysis. However, it will be provided as a β feature.

Nonlinear Homogenization Analysis
Elasto-Plastic Curve Fitting
The user-specified adjustment parameter for elasto-plastic curve fitting is no longer required. This allows us to obtain stable curve-fitting results without the need for special know-how. In addition, curve-fitting results can now be compared using the general Mises space stress-strain characteristics instead of the conventional Hill space stress-strain characteristics.
Viscoelastic Curve Fitting
In the previous curve fitting function, the stiffness matrices that make up some Maxwell elements may contain negative values. From this version, it has been modified to take a positive value for the stiffness component where stress relaxation occurs.
