Layered magnetic shield (Magnetic field homogenization analysis)
Recommended for the following
- Want to know the permittivity and permeability of composite material with unknown material property values.
- Want to improve the accuracy of the electromagnetic field analysis model using the composite material.
This example shows a static magnetic field analysis of the model consisting of a multilayer magnetic shield and current source. It has homogenized the magnetic shield by applying the equivalent permeability of the layered structure.
The magnetic flux density characteristics between A and B have been plotted. You can observe a state of the average characteristics obtained from the results that were directly modeled by the layered structure.
