Release Information
CMAS 19.2
Ansys19.2 support
CMAS support Ansys Workbench 19.2 and Ansys Mechanical APDL 19.2. Note that Mechanical APDL edition is implemented all CMAS functions, while Workbench edition does not support hyper elastic homogenization and nonlinear localization analysis functions.
Template to Create Micro Model
Biaxial Braided model
Biaxial braided model has two tows which has any cross angle.
Figure 1. Biaxial Braided Model
Triaxial Braided Model
Triaxial Braided Model has three tows which has any cross angle. We can two types of braid method as shown in figure 2.

Polycrystalline Metal Model
Polycrystalline metal model has large number of grain which shape is polyhedron. We can specify some geometrical parameters such as edge length of grain or triple point and so on.

Cross Weave Model supporting high volume fraction of fibers.
New cross weave model can achieved high volume fraction of fibers. In this model, the shape of weave is set as paralleled to cross section of fibers which is orthogonally oriented, while ordinary model define the shape of weave as sin curve. Furthermore, we can select any shape of cross section in three types as shown figure 4.

Non Crimp Fabric (Beta Version)
NCF contains non crimpled fibers tacking by stitches. Stitches are modeled by beam element. It is beta version because homogenization analysis does not support beam element.
