Overview

The new elements and material constitutive law have been developed and implemented in the updated versions every time, but still they were not perfect in order to satisfy the needs of many of the analysts in Ansys. Prominent among them, as well as other things, is anisotropic material constitutive law of non-linear.

The material constitutive law of anisotropy is not implemented as standard in the non-linear characteristic represented by elastic-plastic, super-elastic, viscoelastic creep, or even though the material constitutive law of anisotropy is implemented, there is a present condition that curve fitting feature to identify these material property value is not implemented. This paper, introduces the formularization by using the generalized anisotropy Maxwell model, as shown in the figure below, and focuses on anisotropic characteristics of the viscoelastic material in order to express the behavior mathematically.
