Multi-scale analysis on the porous cantilever

Comparing the calculation time and results respectively between two cases; the multi-scale analysis on porous cantilever and the direct modeling non-homogeneity. Then verifying the validity of the multi-scale analysis.

Performing a static linear structural analysis which defines the pressure on the upper surface by fully restraining the left end of the cantilever. A total of 21 analysis cases were performed. The number of holes vary from 1 to 21 in the vertical direction.

Graphs of displacement and stress of the macro-model and direct model are shown below. A tendency for more analysis accuracy is observed when the number of holes is increased (scale ratio of macro and micro increases).
