Previous version of FMBEM (HF-FMBEM = High Frequency FMBEM) solvers characteristically have reduced efficiency in low frequency ranges. The disadvantage has been removed by the LF-FMBEM solver, which demonstrates high efficiency in such ranges. Combined use of the HF-FMBEM and LF-FMBEM enables large-scale problems to be efficiently computed over all frequency ranges.

The latest version provides two different parallel computation functions: shared memory parallel-processing (SMP) and frequency level parallel-processing (FLP).
SMP parallel processes a frequency step using multi-core of central processing unit (CPU), thereby contributing to high-speed computation of large-scale problems. In contrast, FLP simultaneously processes different frequency steps after assigning them to multi-core of CPU, thus allowing effective computation of many steps. SMP and FLP can be used in combination.
These parallel computation functions are released generally as optional modules, except for parallel computing with up to two CPUs of single-core processor (= two cores of multi-core processor), which can be used as a standard function.

The license management system has been changed to FLEXnet.
The license of the solver (computing part) and interface (WAON operation part using GUI or NoGUI) has been separated. One solver and up to two interfaces can be started with one license. This, for instance, enables another GUI to be started during the anals of one problem to enable operations other than analysis to be carried out.
