WAON is a software for the acoustic analysis which adopts FMBEM as the solver. FMBEM is the Boundary Element Method (BEM) based on the Fast Multipole Algorithm. This method avoids the problem of the full populated matrix. So, the memory requirement and the CPU Time will be reduced. And, you will be able to compute the large scale model which you could not by the conventional BEM.
